Playlist: #Rocktoberfest

Rocktoberfest

Hello humans, how was the weekend, hope it was good? Well, mine was… I don’t know about you.

So this week is all about Rocktoberfest for me. It is the first rock festival in Nigeria so it’s a big deal for me because I’m keen for it. It’s on Saturday so 5 days to go #Rocktoberfest. Well Africa, we have planned long for this and it’s gonna be a success, you can watch the videos of people in Rocknation FB page facebook

So the playlist is all about us, we doing it the Tatu style

Lagimo by Rooftop  MCs

These guys, well during my days of my rock upbringing, they were the main name. They are one of the pioneers of rock in Nigeria and the fact that they are gonna be in the festival is amazeballs. This is my best song by them, very catchy chorus with lots of meaning .

E don do me by The Clones

So I was sitting chilling out with some dudes at PMS and the Clones started performing the track, it brought back memories so I just went with the vibe. Cool track, hope they perform it again.

Shine by NathMac

This is currently without a doubt, one of the most talented musicians in the very small Nigerian rock scene. He just oozes class and has a voice to make a rock melt. Brilliant singer.

Champion by Phrance

while listening to Audioinferno podcast 23 ,when I heard the beginning, I knew this was the Popular Champion track, this is a good song, it makes you feel relaxed, well it makes me. It’s a Metal digester.

Dancing In The Sun by Clay

Well, Africa, this is Nigeria’s rock queen (we also have a soft Rock queen and Heavy Metal queen, many queens). She has inspired many upcoming rock artists in Nigeria and she continues to thrive and strive, good song here, funny also, well Denrele is there so it has to be. I died a thousand times at the ending of the track. True talent here.

Pretty Flowers by The Isomers

Just heard about these guys. They already have an EP out. This is very relaxing music. They are, at least when we last checked, the only band operating out of Abuja, Nigeria. Looking forward to hearing what these guys can offer at the show.

So that’s your Audioinferno Monday playlist, stay tuned to us for more on #Rocktoberfest as it develops.

Name is Austin, peeps call me Austinrock. I like to interact with bands. You DO NOT have my permission to utilize any of my profile information nor any of the content contained here \m/{*¿*}\m/ ...THERE...OK. I'm a huge Melodeath metal fan. I'm proud to be a METALHEAD. Metal isn't for everybody, it's for the chosen few. Most friends I have tell me they don't understand why I like metal, that it is too much noise. They just going to have to listen beyond the noise and the truth is they don't have to figure it out, it is either in you or it isn't. Metal is my morning coffee and it's my night sleeping pills...
