Nigerian Zainab Sule releases EP and acoustic video

Zainab jamming

On Monday, Nigerian Queen Of Soft Rock, Zainab Sule, finally dropped her long-awaited EP after 4 years. There are only two new songs on the 5-track EP with Fire Down Below, I’ll Make You Dance and I’ll Be There all having been released previously. Having listened to the EP, it’s a definite improvement on her earlier work although I’m not particularly happy that Zainab is still playing it safe. I feel she can take more risks with the music she makes. Perhaps, her upcoming album will show more range. Anyway, I’ll leave the in-depth analysis to our reviewers who will be dissecting all the songs and delivering a comprehensive review (I hope).

The EP is available for sale on CDbaby. Be sure to pop on over there and buy it. Support your local acts/bands so they can keep producing the music we all listen to and enjoy.

  1. WELL …FIRST THINGS FIRST, ITS NICE TO SEE THAT ROCK MUSIC IS COMING UP AND GAINING GROUNDS HERE IN NIGERIA ;SO GOOD JOB ZAINAB SULE AND EVERY OTHER ACT RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS PROGRESS. ON THE EP, I FEEL SHE STILL HAS A LOT TO OFFER. ITS LIKE SHE IS PLAYING SAFE ESPECIALY WITH HER VOICE WHICH IS GREAT FOR ROCK MUSIC BY THE WAY. ALSO I WILL SUGGEST THAT SHE MAKE A LYRICS HOME…AS IN SOMTHING WE CAN RELATE WITH AS NIGERIANS. LASTLY SHE DOES SOFT ROCK ,,A TOUCH OF THE AFRICAN SOUND WONT B A BAD IDEA..JUST SAYING. BUT IN ALL GOOD JOB…LIKE I SAID,SHE HAS THE VOICE ESPECIALY FOR ROCK SHE JUST HAVE TO LET IT ALL OUT.
