Polar Dust unveils ‘Dose of my Dark side’ video

polar dustPolar Dust are a post rock band from Johannesburg, South Africa. They have released their latest music video ‘Dose of my Dark Side‘. The first two videos of the band followed the same theme and concept.  ‘Dose of my Dark Side‘ is the last single off their album ‘Into the Burning water’ which was released  back in November 2014.

‘Into the Burning water’ album has 3 songs and they all have videos, that’s the first I have seen from the African scene, kudos to them. In cases like this, you will know that it’s due to lack of funds for them to shoot the videos. Even Sara M. Eksteen said it herself.

We didn’t always have money to shoot the videos so we just shot or recorded when we could.

Sara M. Eksteen wrote the lyrics of the song and she also told AudioInferno what the song means

It meant that you can sometimes slip into your own darkness by over reacting or get too involved in a scenario that provokes unintelligent emotions. This is our 3rd video and it took a long time to get where we are now. Sometimes it’s not about the goal but about the process/journey it takes to get there. I didn’t enjoy the process at first. I just wanted to get everything done as soon as possible but sometimes things don’t always work out the you think they would.

Name is Austin, peeps call me Austinrock. I like to interact with bands. Metal isn't for everybody, it's for the chosen few. Most friends I have tell me they don't understand why I like metal, that it is too much noise. They just going to have to listen beyond the noise and the truth is they don't have to figure it out, it is either in you or it isn't. Metal is my morning coffee and it's my night sleeping pills...
